We are looking for local volunteers to become Advocates for parents with learning disabilities, adults with learning disabilities and young people with disabilities to be heard, make choices and become empowered and involved in the community.
We are looking for local people who could volunteer a couple of hours a week and who want to make a difference.
We offer good support and cover advocates out of pocket expenses.
We are recruiting volunteers throughout January 2009 and the induction training is planned for late January 2009.
